From Ghent-Sint Pieters
Take tram line 1, direction Evergem or Wondelgem and get off at the 'Burgstraat' stop. This is the first stop after the Gravensteen castle. At Burgstraat 110-116 there is a black gate, where you can ring the bell. Go through the gate, follow the alley and at the end take the glass door on the left to reach the reception.
From Ghent-Dampoort
Bus 3 towards Mariakerke, bus 17 or bus 18 towards Drongen, and bus 38 or bus 39 towards Blaarmeersen, will take you to the 'Poel' stop. This stop is 350 meters from the Rustpunt.
Leave the Sint-Michiels bridge behind, and walk into Hoogstraat until the first street on the right: Ramen. Follow this street and you will reach Burgstraat. At Burgstraat 110-116 there is a black gate, where you can ring the bell. Go through the gate, follow the alley and at the end take the glass door on the left to reach the reception.

From Antwerp or Kortrijk (via the E17)
Take the E40 towards Oostende EXPO at the Zwijnaarde interchange. You insert on the E40 and follow the description "From Brussels (via the E40)" below.
From Brussels (via E40)
On the E40, take exit 14 (St-Denijs-Westrem), and follow the signs for R4 Zelzate, Eeklo EXPO.
Keep left and drive to the roundabout at about 1.5 km. At the roundabout, take the first exit on the right and drive over the bridge. On the bridge you keep to the right and follow the sharp bend, direction Zelzate. After the bend you merge onto the R4. You will find the ring canal on your left. Follow the R4 for approximately 3 km, until the N466 Blaarmeersen exit.
Take the side road, and then the second exit, direction N466 Ghent. At the next intersection, continue straight ahead in the direction of Ghent. Further on you merge onto the N466. Continue until you reach the intersection with the R40 (Rooigemlaan). Turn right and take the second street on the left (at the traffic lights). You are now in the Nieuwewandeling with a park on your left. Take the second street on the right over the water, and turn left 150 meters further into Peperstraaat. At the end of the street, turn right onto Burgstraat. You can park in front of the church (Burgstraat 46).
From Bruges / Ostend (via E40)
Take the exit 13 (Drongen) to the N466. At the end of the exit, turn left and drive over the bridge with the motorway. You follow the N466 for a distance of approximately 6 km (Deinsesteenweg, Drongensesteenweg), until the intersection with the R40 (Rooigemlaan). Turn right and take the second street on the left (at the traffic lights). You are now in the Nieuwewandeling with a park on your left. Take the second street on the right over the water, and turn left 150 meters further into Peperstraat. At the end of the street, turn right onto Burgstraat. You can park in front of the church (Burgstraat 46).

Parking lot full?
- You can park in the monastary garden - Prinsenhof 39 (upon arrival during the opening hours of the reception).
- You can park in the underground parking lots 'Ramen' or 'Sint-Michielsparking'.
Low emission zone
From 1 January 2020, Ghent city center will be a low-emission zone to improve air quality. The most polluting vehicles may no longer enter the zone.

You can park for free at various car parks outside the center (P+R). You will find all options on this page. A free shuttle bus leaves from P+R Weba / Decathlon and P+R Watersportbaan to the center. You can take tram 1 from P+R Expo.
